News! Aromatherapy and It's Place in the Petstyling Salon

The All American Grooming Seminar of 2006, held in Chicago, was attended by Hartman Creek Pet Center's owner and lead stylist, Monica Gates. Monica has attended this seminar for so many years, that they now put her to work! She serves as a room hostess for some of the many mini-seminars presented there.

This year, she attended special classes on how to make the petstyling experience quicker and less stressful for the pet. Much of this was old news for Monica, who now has 25 years of experience in the Art of Petstyling. She found the program on Aromatherapy especially intruguing, and immediately purchased a kit to get it started here in Waupaca.

It is felt that using Aromatherapy will help animals (and humans) remain relaxed and cheerful throughout their time at "the groomer's". Now, when you step into the reception area at HCPC, you will be greeted by subtle, natural aromas, blended with your pet's comfort in mind!

Aromatherapy has also been incorporated into some of the new shampoos and conditioners Monica picked up at the All American this year. If you have a favorite scent, please mention this when you come in for an appointment- we may be able to accomodate you!

Though it's not always necessary, in order to ensure the most flexibility in scheduling an appointment, please try to call at least 3 weeks in advance. Our schedule is becoming so tight, it's not likely we'll be able to squeeze you in much sooner, unless we have a cancellation. The holidays are coming, too!
