Monica has invested in approximately $800 worth of new equipment in the past two years that will further improve the level of services offered at the salon. The clipper vacuum system is a devise that delivers suction at the point of the clippers, so that hair is sucked away as it's clipped. This results in a nice smooth finish, often in less time than it would have taken without the vacuum attachment- which means less stress for the pet! It allows the use of longer clipper attachments, for a fluffier finish than was easily accomplished before. An important side benefit is, that it effectively removes the cut hair from the environment, which is healthier for everyone. The vacuum was installed in an adjoining closet, so the noise from it is barely perceivable in the salon.
