Monica (Gardner) Gates graduated from the Midwest School of Dog Grooming at the top of her class in 1983 and attends several continuing education seminars every year. She opened Hartman Creek Pet Center in 1994, formerly working in salons and veterinary clinics in Illinois and Indiana. Monica is a member of the International Professional Groomers Association, Certified in the Terrier Group by the IPG and pursuing other group certifications as well. Monica has served on the Board of Directors of the Humane Society of Waupaca County for many years, and currently helps run their new Adoption Center. Cheryl Hammond has been at HCPC for 8 years, and has become an expert in bathing, drying, brushing and basic styling. Cheryl and Monica make a great team!
