Most full stylings take over 2 hours to complete, so you can plan on
leaving your friend AT LEAST that long. We try to stagger appointments,
and we will call you as soon as your friend is ready or almost ready
so he/she won't have to sit here any longer than necessary. We like
to take our time and do a beautiful job on everyone, and your friend
will remain more relaxed if he/she doesn't sense we're in a rush, so
please try to allow us all the time we need to do the job right.
If you need to have your friend finished quickly, it is imperative
that you inform us when you make the appointment so that we can plan
accordingly. Likewise, if you won't be available to pick up your friend
right away when we call, please let us know at the time you book the
appointment since some nights we close earlier than others.
All Canine Companions brought in for a Full styling receive the following:
- All ears are checked and cleaned if necessary
- Toenails are clipped.
- Skin is checked for signs of problems and/or parasites
- Shampoo and conditioner are chosen based on observations of skin
and coat condition.
- Bathed, thoroughly rinsed, conditioned (if indicated), and rinsed
again.
- Blow dried using the preferred method for that particular animal
based on coat type and temperament.
- Thoroughly brushed and combed, all matts and tangles are worked
out/removed, and as much dead hair as possible is removed.
- Haircut is performed according to instructions.
